Join us for Mental Health First Aid! May 28 & 29
Please join us for the next Mental Health First Aid training on Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th from 9:00am-4:30pm at Ionia County Community Mental Health!! Continental breakfast and registration will begin at 8:30am on both days. Lunch is provided. The fee to attend is $85 which can be waived for Ionia County residents and professionals. Social Work and MCBAP CEU’s are available.
Mental Health First Aid is a two day training intended to provide education and awareness on mental health and substance related issues. Participants will learn how to better recognize signs of a possible mental health or substance use issue or crisis and how to best intervene in order to get the person connected to appropriate professional help.
